VACANT POSITIONS IN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - OPEN

Kericho Water and Sanitation Company Ltd (KEWASCO Ltd) is a private company established under the Company's Act Cap 486, Laws
of Kenya and is wholly owned by the County Government of Kericho. It is licensed by the Water Service Regulation Board as a
very large water utility with over 35,000 water connections to have a Board of Directors comprising 9 persons. KEWASCO's core
mandate is to provide water and sanitation services to residents of Kericho County. In accordance with Article 174 of the Constitution of
Kenya.The Company wishes to recruit for the following post in the board;

1. One(1) member from industry/manufacturing sector in Kericho


2. One(1) member from business/commercial sector nominated by their bodies


3. One(1) member representing professionals nominated by that body


4. One(1) member representing urban consumers or resident associations


5. One(1) member representing Women/Youth and Persons with Disability(PWDs)


6. One(1) member representing civil society organizations active in Kericho


7. One(1) member representing public or private institutions

Application with supporting documents should be hand delivered to the Governor's Secrtary sealed in a plain envelop
indicating "APPLICATION FOR BOARD OF DIRECTOR KEWASCO" with a sub heading indicating the category of
representation(referring to 1-7 above). Applications should be addressed to the under-signed, and also emailed
to info@kewasco.co.ke with a cc to david.kirui@kericho.go.ke. All applications should be received in a sealed envelop
not later than Friday, 3rd May, 2024 .at 5:00 p.m at Kericho County Government Headquarters as on the description.
